I dunno what that guy simon is going on about. I've been using this area for over 50+ yrs. It is lavender hillcompared with some places I've visited in the USA, Africa or the medi.

It takes a huge storm to work well but the shipwreck in the middle of the beach can produce a good wave. Only really breaks a couple of times a year.

In my experience this break never works in the summer, I would imagine it is more of a winter break.

A brilliant wave when the swell is big enough. This right hand point break can get you all the way to the shore in peeling bliss.
Rob, Rhondda
I went out on in January and nobody was out it had 5-6 foot puuuurfect peelers for about 2 hours before the wind got on it. As good a wave as I've ever seen!!

Last time I surfed this it was 6-8 foot and there was three of us out, it was a totally gnarly sesh! If the swell is huge it is a real sweat wave, on its day the best wave I have surfed all year.

Well I dunno what to say! Absolute xrap is the best description I suppose! Fair enough it can get reasonable (even though it sections off most of the time), but why surf this relatively flat weak wave when Sker is not all that far away? Furthermore, you need a chemical suit to be safe from the pollution here! Do your health and surfing a favour, avoid this break at all costs!
