The Vision
The BeachWizard project was created by the UK and Ireland
based surfing portal coldswell.com
to expand its popular surfing beach guide. This covers a wider
area and provides a dedicated free online reference service,
supplying reliable information with maps, extensive reviews
and photographs by real local surfers.
The Objective
The primary objective of the website is to provide a central
point for all surfers to be able to share their local knowledge
with each other, allowing travelling surfers to select suitable
destinations to feed their desire of discovering and surfing
new waves.
Secret Spots
Information on 'secret spots' are included on the website
but their location will not be disclosed on the maps. This
allows those dedicated surfers to relish in the excitment
of hunting down those less crowded waves shared only by those
few with the knowledge of their precise location.
Your Involvement
You can contribute to the project and share your local knowledge
with the rest of the surfing community by reviewing the local
beaches in your area and by submitting photographs of beaches
your have surfed.

and alert us to any errors or omissions.

Any submission of data to BeachWizard must be done by the
owner or with express consent of the owner of its copyright.
